Crying

Yesterday, we brought you along to work cause Grandma had an appointment with the dentist. We went to return some stuff and Mummy left you and Daddy in the car. When mummy returned 5 to 10 minutes later, Mummy saw Daddy waving to ask me to hurry up and mummy was shocked to see you crying badly in the front seat on Daddy's lap.


Daddy said you started crying after Mummy left the car and all his tricks did not work to coax you even after carrying you out of the car seat. You were so happy to see Mummy back and finally calm down and stop crying after Mummy hug you for awhile. Haiz. Sticky Baby Ashton.


On a side note, some interesting thing about you:

• You are very happy when we are at the lift lobby and will keep smiling all the way till we exit the lift.

• You like to look at this sign when we are on our way out and will smile while looking at it. 

• If you are outside the door with Grandma, no matter how hard Mummy call you, you will ignore and don't look at me and won't stretch out your hands to let me carry

High on "drugs"

We attended Hoon yiyi's birthday party yesterday and you enjoyed the attention with so many people carrying and playing with you. 

You are learning to talk and like to babble around.

High on "drugs" and keep shaking your head.

Shaking Head

Last night, we were feeding you cereal and prune, mummy asked you if it was nice and you started shaking your head. Daddy and Mummy had a good laugh and you repeated the act a second time when we asked you again 5 minutes later. We were too slow and did not manage to take any pictures.

First Fall

Last Sunday, you fell down from the bed due to Daddy's and Mummy's neglience and we decided that we should each assume 50% liability. You landed face down on the floor and had a big bump on your head. You were inconsolable and crying so badly that grandma brought you down for a walk and when mummy tried to carry you over, you hang on to grandma for dear life. After mummy carried you over, you were still crying and mummy sang Twinkle Twinkle little star for you and you fall asleep.

On a happier note, Daddy went on a business trip to the states again and bought lots of clothes for you AGAIN. A very good bargain, all of it for usd71.

You attended a birthday party for the first time!! Yiwen yiyi's boy-Xi yuan first year birthday party. You love the helium balloons that was around the house and had a great

time playing with the balloons.

 

You love music and always dance to it. Even when there's no music and you are in a good mood, you will dance too.

Daddy and mummy wish that you can stay happy, cheerful and healthy. Love you!

Water Time

Mummy "digged" out the mini pool that Edmund Uncle and Fiona Yiyi gave you and brought it over to your grandma's place for you to play.

You had a great time and drank some water too. When you are doing tummy time in the pool, you used your tongue to sip the water. What a greedy boy.

Milestones

"Milestones" for the past few weeks:

• Stranger's anxiety - You begin to recognize people and do not allow unfamiliar people to carry you. Everyday, when mummy reach home, you will lean forward and ask her to carry you.
• Feeding - You prefer cereal over porridge and can finish up one small bowl of porridge. Nowadays, you will have cereal for breakfast, porridge for lunch and dinner.
• Going out - You love going out and your face light up the moment you see the lift.
• Leaning forward - When sitting down and you saw a toy not within your reach, you will lean forward and try to reach it. Usually, you will land sideway or face down and scream for help after that.
• Attention - You cannot be leave alone to play toy/sit in the jumperoo, if you see that no one is around, you will make noise to get someone to accompany you.
• Music - When you hear music, you will sway left and right and that is so adorable.
